BIM Structural Modeler

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced BIM Structural Modeler to develop and maintain accurate structural BIM models and documentation for projects supporting our UAE operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with structural engineers, architects, MEP teams, BIM coordinators, and project teams to ensure structural models are accurate, coordinated, and suitable for construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed structural BIM models using Revit.
• Model structural elements including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, stairs, and other structural components.
• Prepare structural plans, sections, details, schedules, and construction documentation.
• Develop reinforcement models and drawings where required by project scope.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural, MEP, civil, and other disciplines.
• Identify and report clashes and coordination issues.
• Incorporate approved design changes, consultant comments, RFIs, and site information.
• Conduct model quality checks and ensure compliance with project BIM standards.
• Prepare and update structural shop drawings and as-built documentation.
• Maintain accurate levels, grids, coordinates, parameters, and model revisions.
• Support BIM coordination meetings and provide technical input when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant structural BIM modelling experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Good understanding of structural construction and detailing.
• Experience with reinforced concrete and/or structural steel modelling.
• Experience preparing structural construction/shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of structural coordination with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects is preferred.
