Bin Builder / Light Carpentry Associate

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Location: Rear of the Mr. Bins Wilkes-Barre store

Mr. Bins is looking for a dependable, hands-on Bin Builder / Light Carpentry Associate to help construct wooden merchandise bins for our retail locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, building things, and using tools in a practical, fast-paced work environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and assemble wooden merchandise bins for shipment to Mr. Bins stores.
• Measure, mark, and cut lumber to specified dimensions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electric saws safely and effectively.
• Assemble wooden components using appropriate fasteners and tools.
• Sand, paint, and finish completed bins as needed.
• Inspect finished bins for quality, stability, and proper construction.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with moving and preparing completed bins for shipment.

Qualifications

• Basic carpentry, woodworking, or construction skills required.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools, including electric saws.
• Ability to measure accurately and follow basic building instructions.
• Comfortable with painting, cutting wood, and assembling materials.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Hands-on work with a variety of tools and materials
• An opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of Mr. Bins
• If the need for bin construction lessens or drops off, full time work will be provided in the Mountain Top warehouse.
• This is a full time, consistent, 40 hours/week position.
