BINDERY OPERATOR / DELIVERY DRIVER

Part-Time 20 – 25 hours per week day shift $20-$30 per hour depending on skill set -

We are a commercial printing company in Cherry Hill, New Jersey seeking a dependable, hands-on Bindery Operator / Delivery Driver. The main responsibilities of this position include paper cutting on our Polar cutters, folding on our MBO folder, general bindery and finishing operations, and occasional local deliveries in our box truck. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, attentive to detail, and comfortable working with commercial printing and finishing equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate paper cutting equipment to accurately cut printed materials to job specifications.

· Set up and operate the MBO folding machine for a variety of commercial print jobs and fold configurations.

· Make routine adjustments to the folder and cutter to maintain accurate, consistent production.

· Operate and assist with other bindery and finishing equipment as required by the job.

· Read job tickets and verify stock, dimensions, quantities, cutting, folding, and finishing requirements before production.

· Monitor finished work for quality and accuracy and troubleshoot common cutting, folding, feeding, and finishing issues.

· Perform routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance on bindery equipment.

· Stack, package, and prepare completed print jobs for delivery or pickup.

· Make occasional local deliveries using the company's Isuzu box truck. No CDL is required for this truck.

Qualifications

· Previous experience with commercial paper cutting, folding, bindery, or finishing equipment is preferred; experience with an MBO folder is a plus.

· Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment are strongly preferred.

· Must be dependable, punctual, able to follow instructions, and attentive to detail.

· Must be able to perform the physical duties normally associated with bindery and printing work.

· A valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a non-CDL box truck are required for deliveries.

· Pay within the $20-$30/hour range will depend on experience and ability.
