Bindery Operator – Printing Industry

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bindery Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will operate finishing equipment used in the printing industry to ensure printed materials meet quality standards and production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate bindery and finishing equipment used for printed materials.
• Set up and adjust machines according to job specifications.
• Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, folding, collating, binding, and other post-press operations, as required.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Monitor production output and make adjustments when necessary.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Report equipment issues or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bindery, print finishing, or a related production environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with printing and finishing equipment is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow job specifications and production instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work rotating or fixed shifts, depending on availability.
