The Role:

No experience required... if you are looking for a new role and want to experience the excitement of working in the hospitality/leisure retail sector, working for an independent family run business who have a strong passion for delivering excellent customer service, then this role could be the one you are looking for.

Joining us as a Bingo Caller, you will play an integral part in the overall success of the venue by creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers and colleagues alike. You must be over 18 years of age to work for us due to gambling legislation. The starting hourly rate is £12.71, increasing to £14.25 upon successful completion of training.

Your Responsibilities as Part of our Team

Calling numbers and making announcements with clarity, professionalism, excitement and passion.

Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the club from front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, the bar area and kitchen including, general housekeeping throughout the club, checking the toilets and ensuring presentation is always to a high standard.

Ensure there is a smooth operation of our entertainment offering, ensuring compliance with all legislation.

To keep up to date with Bingo and Gambling legislation (full training will be given)

Promoting and selling relevant products in an enthusiastic way.

Ensuring you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our customers and colleagues.

About you

Stamina to stand for lengthy periods or walk the floor during busy sessions.

Flexibility to work shift patterns that heavily include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Evening and Weekend shifts are included with all positions, full days are on a split shift basis (1-2-hour break between afternoon and evening shifts)

Previous calling experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training is given.

There is the opportunity to gain experience of further and more varied skills which carry higher rates of pay for employees with the right aptitude.

Hours Of Work: Afternoons: Earliest start 11am. Latest finish 3.30pm. Evenings: Earliest start 5pm. Latest finish 9.30pm.
