Bio Medical Technician

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification & Experience:

• Repair, service and install medical equipment at CGH.
• Keep updated list of suppliers and their contact numbers for managing emergencies.
• Log repair and maintenance expense details prior to processing payments
• Take daily round of wards to check pressure of Oxygen and air.
• Visit Oxygen Room to review the status of meters, record readings, and report to Bio Medical Engineer
• Record outward gate passes for bio medical equipment
• Maintain Expenses Register logging details of recovery and maintenance expenses. Provide daily updates of complaints to Bio-Medical Engineer at the end of the shift, especially those under processing.
• Submit Daily Summary of Complaints, duly signed by end users, to Bio-Medical Engineer.
• Prepare Weekly Summary of Complaints and present to Bio-Medical Engineer. o Collect items from Stores and return discarded old items along with indent.
• Daily switch on the Dental Compressor at 9:00 a.m. and turn it off at 5:00 p.m. o Maintain equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules, conduct tests and trouble shoot malfunctions.
• Conduct periodic maintenance of medical equipment and update log book.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by work supervisor
