Biochemical Engineer

This position is responsible for designing, optimizing, and executing a complete, "from-scratch"

Job Scope

• Feedstock Engineering: Formulate and optimize sugar extraction methodologies from clean, food-grade raw materials including honey, fruit, and agricultural byproducts.

• Fermentation Management: Select, cultivate, and manage high-efficiency yeast/microbial strains optimized for complex fructose and glucose profiles to maximize ethanol yields.

• High-Purity Distillation: Oversee fractional and extractive distillation processes to refine raw mash into anhydrous (water-free) ethanol (>99.5% purity).

• Catalytic Dehydration: Design and operate systems to chemically dehydrate bio-ethanol into ethylene gas using advanced acid catalysts.

• Hydrogenation & Finishing: Lead the final hydro-processing/hydrogenation stages to ensure the final product is chemically stable, clean-burning, and fully saturated.
