Qualimetrix S.A. is a third party Contract Research Organization, established in 2013, that provides analytical services to the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualimetrix S.A. is involved in the development of the Quality part of pharmaceutical products (module 3) as well as in Analytical Development, QC activities, QP services and GLP studies.

In the frame of its activities, Qualimetrix S.A. is recruiting a Laboratory analyst for the biological analysis department, based in the company's premises in Athens, Greece.

Reports to:

• Department’s Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Holds responsibility for the conduction of microbiological control (e.g., TAMC/ TYMC/ specified), bacterial endotoxin testing, particulate matter analysis and other biological assays (e.g., biological assay of antibiotics) of pharmaceutical products following internal policies, methods and procedures
• Holds responsibility for recording raw data promptly and accurately in appropriate lab notebooks and logbooks and in compliance with the Principles of GMP
• Prepares culture media and performs Growth Promotion Test
• Performs environmental monitoring of controlled area
• Compiles Standard Operating Procedures and Equipment Operation Instructions relevant to biological analysis department
• Identifies, documents and reports analytical issues, OOS and deviations that may affect results

Work experience requirements:

• At least one year experience in a GMP oriented microbiological laboratory

• Experience in microbiological control of non-sterile pharmaceutical products

• Experience in aseptic techniques

Education requirements

• University degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or Chemistry

• Good knowledge of the English language (CEFR Level B2)
