About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing, and technical support of biomedical/medical equipment. The candidate should have good technical knowledge, communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot biomedical and medical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment.
• Diagnose technical faults and provide timely solutions.
• Attend service calls at hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other healthcare facilities.
• Maintain service records, equipment history, and maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams for equipment-related issues.
• Ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently as per manufacturer specifications.
• Support equipment demonstrations, installation, commissioning, and user training when required.
• Coordinate with suppliers/manufacturers for technical support and spare parts.
• Maintain proper documentation of service visits, repairs, replacements, and breakdowns.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable medical equipment standards.
• Travel to customer locations within Pune and nearby areas as required.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of biomedical/medical equipment and basic electronics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and service-report documentation.
• Willingness to travel for service and customer visits.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

1–4 years of relevant experience in biomedical equipment servicing, medical equipment maintenance, installation, or technical support.

Candidates with experience in hospital equipment, diagnostic equipment, ICU equipment, patient monitoring systems, laboratory equipment, or other medical devices will be preferred.

Salary

As per industry standards and based on candidate's experience and skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
