What they need
Position: Biomedical Engineer
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering
Experience: 25 years in a hospital/healthcare environment preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain all medical equipment in the hospital.
Attend equipment breakdowns and ensure timely repair.
Carry out preventive maintenance and calibration.
Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for service, warranty and AMC/CMC.
Support installation, commissioning and shifting of equipment.
Maintain equipment records, service reports and inventory.
Provide basic training to users on safe equipment operation.
Ensure equipment safety, availability and minimum downtime.
Support procurement through technical evaluation of medical equipment.
Coordinate with clinical and other hospital departments for equipment-related requirements.
