Biomedical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• To effectively handle personnel queries about functioning of medical equipments.
• To demonstrate effective application of technical & professional knowledge.
• To coordinate and evaluate the work performed by service contractors including maintenance, calibration, installation and verification of service documentation.
• To ensure monthly schedule of plan preventive maintenance.
• To audit all processes related to the delivery of medical gases.
• To maintain professional development through attending seminars, workshops.
• To provide technical assistance and training to personnel in maintenance and use of medical equipment.
• To ensure maintaining of optimum stock of spares to reduce breakdown.
• To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.
• To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital.
• To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
• To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area
• To Comply with patient safety policy
• To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with 2-4 years experience in Hospital set-up
