Job Summary We are looking for a Biomedical Engineer with hands-on experience in X-Ray and medical imaging equipment to support the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing, and technical support of X-Ray systems and other diagnostic imaging equipment. The candidate will work closely with hospitals, biomedical engineering departments, radiology teams, suppliers, and internal sales teams to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Install, commission, test, and maintain X-Ray and medical imaging equipment. - Perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance, calibration, and performance verification. - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, software, and imaging-related issues. - Understand the working principles of X-Ray generation, X-Ray tubes, generators, detectors, collimators, high-voltage systems, and image acquisition systems. - Support installation and servicing of mobile and fixed X-Ray systems. - Conduct equipment testing and functional checks following manufacturer specifications. - Perform basic image-quality checks and assist with image evaluation and troubleshooting. - Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, installation reports, and equipment history. - Coordinate with international manufacturers for technical support, spare parts, troubleshooting, and software updates. - Provide technical training and user orientation to hospital staff when required. - Support product demonstrations and technical presentations for customers and Biomedical Engineering teams. - Attend emergency service calls and resolve equipment issues within agreed response times. - Ensure compliance with applicable hospital requirements, manufacturer procedures, and Qatar regulatory requirements. - Maintain adequate technical documentation, service tools, spare parts, and consumables. - Support the sales team during technical evaluations, tenders, demonstrations, and customer meetings. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Previous experience working with X-Ray systems or medical imaging equipment is highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of X-Ray equipment architecture and operating principles. - Experience with troubleshooting electronic and electromechanical systems. - Ability to read and understand electrical/electronic circuit diagrams and technical service manuals. - Good computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment software and networking. - Ability to communicate effectively with hospital Biomedical Engineering, Radiology, and clinical teams. - Willingness to travel to hospitals and customer sites within Qatar. Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following will be an advantage: - Mobile X-Ray systems - Digital Radiography (DR) - Computed Radiography (CR) - Fixed-room X-Ray systems - X-Ray generators and high-voltage systems - X-Ray tubes and tube assemblies - Flat-panel detectors - PACS/DICOM and medical imaging networks - Image-quality testing and calibration - Preventive maintenance and corrective service - Medical equipment installation and commissioning Additional Skills - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Good documentation and reporting ability. - Customer-service oriented and professional. - Ability to work independently as well as within a technical team. - Good English communication skills. - Arabic language skills would be an advantage. - Valid Qatar driving license is preferred. Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
