Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fairbanks, AK for a Biomedical Equipment Technician. The Technician will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and repairing medical equipment to ensure it operates safely and effectively. Day-to-day tasks include routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, and performing equipment testing. The technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that medical devices meet standard operational requirements to support quality healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Calibration
• Strong abilities in Equipment Repair and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Electrical Safety standards and protocols
• Experience working with a variety of Medical Equipment
• Relevant technical training or certification in biomedical technology or a related field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with healthcare environments is a plus
