Biomedical Technician

·         Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs of medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

·         Conduct regular calibration and testing to ensure accuracy and proper performance of medical devices.

·         Ensure that all equipment complies with applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

·         Assist in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of new medical equipment, including orientation and training of end-users when necessary.

·         Monitor and maintain records of medical equipment, tools and spare parts to ensure availability and proper assess control.

·         Maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance, activities, repairs, inspections, and calibration reports.

·         Coordinate with hospital departments and clinical staff to address equipment-related concerns and recommend process improvements.

·         Provide on-call technician support in the event of critical equipment malfunctions or urgent operational requirements.

·         Performs other related duties which may be assigned from time to time.
