BIOMEDICAL TECHNICIAN

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance to the termed Vision and Mission statements, goals, objectives and values of the Company.
• To prepare a Planned Preventive Maintenance service schedule for biomedical equipment.
• To monitor the progress of the PPM service schedule.
• To schedule corrective maintenance service for faulty equipment.
• To monitor the changing of spare parts.
• To prepare and manage service contracts with vendors.
• To oversee the testing and commissioning of new medical equipment and devices.
• To develop procedures with regards to communication flow.
• To process stock requisition.

Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years working experience in the Biomedical Engineering field. Preferably with relevant experience in Hospital/healthcare business or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office) and asset management systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
