Bistro Attendant

Overview

Bring energy and attentive hospitality to every guest as a Bistro Attendant. You’ll support food preparation and beverage service, process orders and payments, and keep the bistro clean, safe, and welcoming. Your impact: Accurate, friendly service helps guests enjoy a smooth dining experience from arrival through checkout.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, answer questions, take orders, and support guest relations; assist with hosting and seating as needed.
• Prepare and serve food, drinks, cocktails, and wine in line with food safety and sanitation practices.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process sales transactions, handle cash, and complete basic math accurately.
• Recommend menu items and use thoughtful upselling to support sales while focusing on guest needs.
• Bus tables, maintain clean service areas, and coordinate with the kitchen to keep service moving.

Experience

• Customer service, hospitality, food service, restaurant, or guest services experience is valuable; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Food handling, food preparation, kitchen, culinary, serving, bussing, cashiering, or beverage and drink service experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated time management, cash handling, sales transaction processing, and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems is useful; Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable experience are preferred.
• Wine, cocktail, or spirits knowledge is a plus.
