Blaster/Painter

We are seeking experienced and skilled Industrial Blasters and Painters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in surface preparation via abrasive blasting and the application of high-performance anti-corrosion coatings (such as Epoxies and Polyurethanes) using airless spray systems within a busy workshop or industrial hangar environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Perform automatic and manual grid, shot, or grit blasting on steel structures, plates, and pipes to achieve international standards.
• Coating Application: Mix and apply heavy-duty industrial primers, zinc-rich coatings, epoxy linings, glass flake linings, and polyurethane topcoats.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate, clean, and perform basic maintenance on airless spray painting systems, blasting pots, and industrial air compressors.
• Quality Control: Ensure uniform paint application by measuring and maintaining correct Wet Film Thickness (WFT) and Dry Film Thickness (DFT) specifications.
• Stripe Coating: Perform precise manual stripe coating using brushes or rollers on welds, edges, and corners before overall spray application.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly follow company HSE policies, use required PPE (blasting helmets, respirators), and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven experience strictly as an Industrial Blaster/Painter in a workshop, steel fabrication yard, or shipyard. (Note: Residential/Commercial house painters will not be considered).
• Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of airless spray guns, paint mixing ratios, and abrasive blasting equipment.
• Physical Fitness: Capability to work in demanding industrial hangar environments and lift heavy equipment.
• Language: Basic conversational English or Hindi to understand safety instructions.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: AED 1,250 – AED 2,800 (negotiable based on trade test results and experience).
• Accommodation: Provided by the company.
• Transportation: Provided by the company (Free daily transport between the accommodation and facility).
• Medical Insurance: Fully covered by the company as per UAE Labor Law.
• Visa Expenses: Fully sponsored and paid for by the company.

Pay: AED24.65 - AED561.93 per day
