Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Block Paver to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for laying durable and aesthetically pleasing paving stones to create functional outdoor surfaces such as walkways, driveways, patios, and plazas. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into attractive, safe, and long-lasting environments. Responsibilities

• Prepare the work area by measuring, marking, and leveling surfaces to ensure proper foundation for paving projects
• Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels to lay bricks and paving stones accurately according to project specifications
• Operate power tools including compactors, saws, and drills safely and effectively to cut and set paving materials
• Mix and apply mortar or other bonding agents to secure paving stones firmly in place
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the project progresses smoothly while maintaining safety standards at all times
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality, alignment, and durability; make adjustments as necessary for a polished look
• Maintain all tools and equipment in excellent condition for optimal performance throughout each project

Experience

• Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or paving work with a strong understanding of construction techniques
• Familiarity with using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and hammers
• Experience operating power tools including saws, compactors, drills, and grinders
• Knowledge of carpentry or roofing can be an asset for versatile project support
• Ability to interpret blueprints or technical drawings related to paving layouts
• Prior welding experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued
• Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures on construction sites
