Blockchain Engineering Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a Blockchain Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of engineers building infrastructure that handles real value on-chain. This is a leadership role with a strong technical core — you'll guide people, shape architecture, and stay close to the code when it matters.

What You'll Do

Lead and support your team

Manage a distributed team of 8–12 engineers.

Run regular 1:1s, support career growth, and give feedback that helps people improve.

Hire thoughtfully and help build a team where everyone feels respected.

Guide technical decisions

Set the direction for smart contracts, node infrastructure, and backend services.

Review critical code and contracts before they go live.

Keep engineering standards high — without slowing the team down.

Own delivery

Plan roadmaps, manage priorities, and make sure things ship on time.

Work closely with Product, Security, and Compliance.

Step in during incidents and help the team stay calm and focused.

Stay hands-on
Jump into production issues when needed.

Prototype solutions and unblock engineers when they're stuck.

Keep learning — blockchain moves fast, and so should we.

What We're Looking For

8+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years leading engineers.

Solid experience with blockchain systems — EVM, smart contracts, nodes, or L2s.

A track record of shipping and maintaining production systems.

Strong coding background in Go, Rust, TypeScript, or Solidity.

A security-first mindset and attention to detail.

Clear communication, especially in writing and async work.

Nice to have:

Experience with custody, staking, or DeFi infrastructure.

Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.

Familiarity with formal verification or fuzzing tools.
