Duties

• Perform professional blow-dry services using various styling techniques to achieve desired looks tailored to each client’s preferences
• Assist clients with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and makeup application to complement their hairstyle and enhance their overall look
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations in accordance with salon protocols
• Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to client needs, offering styling advice, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, processing payments, and managing client records efficiently
• Promote retail sales of hair care products, styling tools, and accessories through upselling and personalized recommendations
• Support store management with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques with a focus on blowouts and finishing touches
• Experience with hair extensions, color theory, and hair threading to diversify service offerings
• Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY for smooth operations and client management
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to perform additional services such as nail care, makeup application, and barbering when needed
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Retail math skills for accurate sales transactions and inventory management
• Store management experience or leadership qualities that support mentoring junior team members
