Blow Mold Machine Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Blow Mold Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blow molding machinery used to produce high-quality plastic bottles and containers. Your expertise in plastics blow molding, machine operation, and quality inspection will ensure efficient production processes while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor blow mold machines to produce plastic containers according to specifications.
• Perform routine machine adjustments and troubleshooting using engineering troubleshooting techniques to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurements to ensure products meet strict quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and inspection records for traceability and process improvement.
• Handle materials safely using forklift and materials handling equipment, ensuring proper storage and movement of raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery such as press brake machines, CNC lathes, robotic systems, and other industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools, personal protective equipment, and adherence to manufacturing safety standards.
• Assist in fabrication or assembly tasks as needed, utilizing basic math skills and mechanical knowledge for precision work.
• Support warehouse operations by managing inventory levels, organizing materials, and ensuring efficient workflow within the production area.

Experience

• Proven experience in plastics blow molding or plastics production environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with plastics injection molding, extrusion processes, or related manufacturing techniques is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience operating industrial equipment such as CNC machines, robotic systems, or press brake machines is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively.
• Experience with measurement tools for quality control and dimensional accuracy is essential.
• Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts is desirable.
• Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting to promote a safe working environment.

Pay: From $16.95 per hour
