Blown Film Extrusion Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blown film extrusion machines according to work instructions.
• Monitor machine operating parameters and make minor adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Produce film according to approved specifications and production schedules.
• Perform routine quality checks, including film thickness, width, surface condition, and other specified requirements.
• Report machine abnormalities, product defects, or material issues to the Line Leader or Shift Supervisor.
• Accurately record production data, machine parameters, and downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area in accordance with 5S requirements.
• Follow all company SOPs, safety rules, and quality procedures.
• Assist with machine startup, shutdown, material changes, and routine cleaning.
• Cooperate with QA personnel during setup approval and quality inspections.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Experience operating blown film extrusion machines or in polymer fabrication is highly preferred.
• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime when required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and comply with company SOPs and safety requirements.
