Blue Prism Developer

Job Summary

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Blue Prism RPA solutions to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Blue Prism automation solutions based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain Blue Prism Processes, Objects, Work Queues, and exception handling.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Integrate Blue Prism with web applications, desktop applications, databases, and APIs.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Provide production support and resolve complex automation issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Process Owners, QA, and other technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct code/design reviews and ensure adherence to RPA development standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and support continuous improvement of RPA solutions.
• Ensure developed solutions comply with security, governance, and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10 years software development experience
• 5+ years of experience in RPA development, with strong hands-on experience in Blue Prism.
• Strong experience in Blue Prism development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Experience with Blue Prism Objects, Processes, Work Queues, and Control Room.
• Experience integrating RPA solutions with APIs, databases, web, and desktop applications.
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting/programming is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Banking/financial services experience is highly preferred.
• Blue Prism certification is an advantage.
