About the role We are seeking a Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) Technician to join our Brisbane Region team on a full time or part time basis.

The team in Brisbane work on a rotating roster at various practices and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team. 
About you

• Essential:
  • A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g. Health Science, Biomedical Science, Medical Science, or equivalent), or
  • Current Enrolled Nurse (EN) registration.
• Highly Desirable:
  • Current DXA (Bone Mineral Densitometry) licence and experience performing BMD examinations.
• Current Qld Radiation Use Licence or ability to apply
• Friendly, caring and compassionate nature with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Ability to support and educate patients and staff within the Unit to ensure quality evidence-based care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver a high level of patient care and customer service
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Demonstrated composure under pressure prioritising a commitment to service excellence
• Professional personal presentation
