Job Description

• Source and evaluate vendors for biomedical equipment, medical devices, spares and consumables.
• Obtain and compare quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate prices and terms.
• Coordinate with BME, clinical departments, Finance, Stores and vendors for purchase requirements.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain vendor database, pricing records, purchase trackers and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate equipment demonstrations, technical evaluations, installation and commissioning.
• Verify specifications, quantity, warranty and other requirements against purchase orders.
• Monitor vendor performance, lead times, replacements and service-related issues.
• Support AMC/CMC, warranty and spare-parts procurement.
• Ensure procurement complies with hospital policies, quality standards and applicable regulatory

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or related field. MBA/PG qualification in Supply Chain/Procurement is an advantage.
