Job Overview

We are seeking a BMS Engineer to support the design and delivery of Building Management System (BMS) solutions for mission-critical facilities. The successful candidate will be involved in BMS design development, technical reviews, contractor coordination, site support, and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

BMS Design & Engineering

• Develop BMS design packages for mission-critical facilities, including control schematics, sequences of operation, points lists, network architecture, and technical specifications.
• Design and review control system architectures for integrated building systems.
• Coordinate BMS interfaces with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, and other MEP systems.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation using AutoCAD and other engineering software.
• Support multidisciplinary design reviews and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Technical Reviews & Coordination

• Review contractor technical submittals, shop drawings, and material submissions.
• Provide technical comments and recommendations to ensure design compliance and constructability.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in design meetings and project coordination workshops.

Site Support & Commissioning

• Support site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in resolving field technical issues and ensuring proper implementation of approved designs.
• Participate in integrated systems testing and commissioning activities.
• Support project handover processes, including documentation review and punch list closeout.

Quality & Project Delivery

• Deliver assigned design and review packages within project schedules.
• Minimize design revisions and rework through thorough quality reviews.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and technical standards.

Expected Outcomes

• Deliver BMS design packages and technical reviews on schedule.
• Complete contractor submittal and shop drawing reviews with minimal rework.
• Effectively coordinate site technical issues throughout project execution.
• Support successful testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation and project records.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in BMS design for mission-critical facilities, including data centers, critical infrastructure, or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of control system architecture and integrated building systems.
• Experience integrating BMS with HVAC and MEP systems.
• Experience reviewing contractor shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Hands-on experience with site coordination and commissioning support.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical documentation preparation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Native in Thai and fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data center project experience.
• Knowledge of DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) integration.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and other building automation communication protocols.
• Exposure to BIM/Revit environments.
• Experience participating in testing and commissioning programs.
• Vendor management and technical coordination experience.
• Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and data analytics capabilities.
