BMS Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and alert BMS Operator with 1–2 years of experience in Building Management System operations. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring building systems, identifying alarms and abnormal equipment conditions, maintaining operational records, and coordinating with the technical team to ensure smooth facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS) for building services and equipment.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems through the BMS workstation.
• Identify system alarms, abnormal operating conditions, and equipment faults, and report them to the concerned team.
• Monitor equipment status, temperature, pressure, and other operating parameters as applicable.
• Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, and mechanical maintenance teams for troubleshooting and fault rectification.
• Maintain daily BMS logs, alarm records, equipment status reports, and shift handover reports.
• Escalate critical alarms and equipment abnormalities to the supervisor promptly.
• Monitor equipment operating schedules as per approved site procedures.
• Assist the maintenance team during preventive maintenance and breakdown activities.
• Follow site SOPs and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines.
• Ensure proper shift handover and effective communication with the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in BMS operations or facility management.
• Good understanding of BMS operation and monitoring.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to identify alarms and abnormal equipment conditions.
• Basic computer knowledge and report-maintenance skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and observation skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.

Pay: Up to AED2,200.00 per month
