BMS Product Definer

• Product Definition & Requirements Management
• Define next-generation BMS semiconductor products, chipsets, and reference architectures.
• Create and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), functional specifications, and use-case definitions.
• Translate customer and system requirements into product features and technical specifications.
• Drive requirements decomposition from system-level needs to subsystem and IC-level requirements.
• Evaluate technical and commercial trade-offs, including performance, safety, power consumption, cost, scalability, and development effort.
• Ensure alignment between product requirements, technology capabilities, business objectives, and development roadmaps.
• Customer & Market Engagement
• Collaborate with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, battery manufacturers, system integrators, and energy infrastructure providers.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer requirements and market feedback.
• Support customer engagements, RFIs, RFQs, and design-win activities.
• Identify unmet market needs and translate them into differentiated product features.
• Participate in customer workshops, technical discussions, and roadmap alignment activities.
• Product Strategy & Roadmap Development
• Contribute to the long-term BMS product roadmap and portfolio strategy.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive offerings.
• Benchmark competing semiconductor and system-level solutions.
• Identify portfolio gaps and propose future product directions.
• Drive innovation initiatives and emerging technology opportunities.
• System Architecture Collaboration
• Partner closely with system architects to define end-to-end BMS solutions.
• Evaluate emerging system architectures and technology options.
• Support architectural trade-off analysis across hardware, software, communication, diagnostics, and functional safety domains. Qualifications：
• Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Product Definition Systems Engineering Semiconductor Product Development Battery Management Systems (BMS) Electrification Technologies
• Experience working with: Automotive OEMs Tier 1 Suppliers Battery Manufacturers Semiconductor Companies Energy Storage Solution Providers Customer-facing technical experience is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills Required Strong knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS). Solid understanding of battery technologies and battery pack architectures.
• Experience with: Cell and pack monitoring Battery protection Balancing strategies Diagnostics and health monitoring Proven ability to translate customer and system requirements into product specifications. Familiarity with automotive development processes and quality standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking capabilities.
