Duties

• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behavioral health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement behavioral therapy techniques in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
• Monitor and document patient progress through detailed medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Provide training and support to staff on behavioral health practices and interventions.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in the field of behavior analysis.

Requirements

• Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst is required.
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques.
• Experience working with children in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and medical documentation.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• A compassionate approach towards individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Broward and Miami-Dade School Badge is Required
• CPR In-Person is required
