What they need

Family Behavioral Solutions LLC is a specialized, provider-owned behavioral health agency. We are currently expanding our team to serve individuals in the Miami area under the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) iBudget Waiver and Florida Medicaid networks.

We are seeking a proactive, energetic, and highly driven Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to provide high-quality, function-driven behavior analysis services directly in clients' homes and community settings. Our business and compliance operations are managed by seasoned accounting and compliance professionals, ensuring that your authorizations are seamless, your documentation templates are audit-ready, and your hourly pay is reliable and accurate.

Built-In Peer Mentorship & Training Support We know that navigating APD guidelines, iConnect, and Rule 65G-4 compliance can feel overwhelming if you haven't done it before. You won't have to figure it out alone. At our agency, you will be paired with an experienced, on-staff BCaBA who specializes in APD processes to personally mentor you step-by-step. Furthermore, if you do not yet have your APD-required crisis or safety certifications, we will help you complete these curriculum modules and certifications directly through our hiring and onboarding process.

Qualifications & Requirements (Must-Haves) Please review these requirements carefully before applying. To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Certification: Active certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in good standing with the BACB.
  • Medicaid & NPI Enrollment: Active Florida Medicaid Provider ID number (Provider Type 39 / Specialty 391) and an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) number linked to your credentials.
  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related human services field.
  • Background Clearance: Ability to successfully pass a Level 2 Background Screening compliant with AHCA and APD regulations.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to commute to consumers' residential locations in the Miami area.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • In-Home Service Delivery: Conduct direct intervention, skill acquisition programming, and behavior reduction protocols within the consumer's natural residential or community environment.
  • Behavior Analysis Service Plans (BASP): Assist in conducting descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments (including 30-day initial assessments) and design function-driven behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Caregiver & Staff Training: Actively train parents, residential habilitation staff, and caregivers to ensure high-fidelity implementation of the BASP, focusing on long-term independence.
  • Data-Driven Progress Monitoring: Collect, graph, and analyze real-time data using our electronic clinical platform to track target behaviors and update interventions.
  • Waiver & Medicaid Compliance: Maintain impeccable, audit-ready documentation including contact/service logs and monthly monitoring summaries (detailing the who, what, when, and where) in strict compliance with state Medicaid handbooks.
  • Collaborative Oversight: Participate in mandatory Local Review Committee (LRC) meetings when targeted reduction behaviors require restricted procedures.

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $50.00/hr with room for growth based on performance and experience.
  • Free In-House Supervision: Save time and money. We provide high-quality, dedicated clinical oversight and active BACB/APD supervision directly from our experienced, on-staff BCBAs.
  • Peer Guidance & APD Onboarding: Direct access to an experienced APD-specialized BCaBA who will mentor you and walk you through the iConnect and documentation workflows.
  • Paid/Assisted Training Credentials: We assist you in obtaining mandatory core competencies, CPR/First Aid, or APD-approved crisis prevention certifications during your onboarding phase.
  • Reliable Payments: Dependable, transparent, and prompt payment cycles backed by our professional accounting infrastructure.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Hourly scheduling built entirely around your availability and lifestyle.
  • Streamlined Tech: Clean, electronic data collection and clinical notes platform to cut out administrative friction.
