What they need

Company: Alpha Health Services LLC
Location: New Orleans, LA – Primary Clinic with local home/school flexibility
Position Type: Full-Time

About Alpha Health Services

At Alpha Health Services LLC, we provide comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare by bridging the gap between primary care and behavioral health. As an established medical and psychiatric provider in New Orleans, we are expanding our neurodevelopmental services to launch a dedicated, high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy program. Unlike a standalone startup, our new ABA program is fully backed by Alpha’s robust operational team, existing medical credentialing, and an active internal patient referral pipeline. We are looking for a visionary Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to be the clinical anchor of this expansion and shape our ABA culture from day one.

Why Join Us?

  • Collaborative Medical Environment: Work alongside our Family Nurse Practitioners and psychiatric team to provide unmatched, wrap-around care coordination for our patients.
  • Capped, Sustainable Caseloads: We strictly limit clinical caseloads to 8–12 clients so you can focus on ethical, high-quality interventions without burnout.
  • Built-In Operations Support: Our established billing, administrative, and credentialing teams handle the paperwork so you can focus entirely on clinical excellence.
  • Built-In Pipeline: Tap into our active internal patient base from day one, drastically shortening your intake and ramp-up periods.
  • Travel Peace of Mind: For any home or school-based supervision, we provide competitive mileage reimbursement and paid drive time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish clinical protocols and conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing behavioral assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS-R).
  • Design individualized, evidence-based behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs for a diverse clinic population.
  • Provide required BACB ongoing supervision (minimum 5%) and active mentoring to our growing team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Coordinate closely with Alpha’s primary care and psychiatric providers to streamline holistic treatment goals.
  • Conduct regular parent and caregiver training sessions to ensure generalization of skills across clinic, home, and community settings.
  • Analyze clinical data weekly to make responsive, data-driven modifications to treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Licensure: Active Louisiana state license to practice behavior analysis (LBA), or eligibility to obtain it prior to your start date.
  • Education: Master’s degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience designing plans and supervising RBTs preferred. Enthusiastic, newly-certified BCBAs looking to grow into a program development role are highly encouraged to apply!
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance for occasional multi-setting travel.
