About Rich Health Solutions

Rich Health Solutions provides Therapeutic Consultation services through Virginia's Medicaid Developmental Disability Waiver programs. We are a growing multidisciplinary team of Behavior Analysts, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Recreation Therapists supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

Our approach is practical and person-centered. Our clinicians work directly with individuals, families, caregivers, residential providers, day support staff, and other members of the support team to develop strategies that can be successfully incorporated into everyday routines and environments.

Position Overview

Rich Health Solutions is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team serving Virginia Beach and the surrounding Hampton Roads area.

This is a part-time W-2 position with a developing caseload. Hours will initially vary based on referrals and caseload development, with the opportunity to ramp up to approximately 25–35 hours per week as the clinician's caseload grows.

The BCBA will provide consultation-based behavioral services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receiving Virginia Medicaid Waiver services. The position focuses on understanding the function of behavior, developing practical behavioral strategies and support plans, training caregivers and support teams, and helping individuals increase independence, safety, participation, and quality of life.

Services are primarily provided in individuals' homes, residential settings, day support programs, and community environments. Some services may be provided virtually when appropriate.

This role offers considerable independence and scheduling flexibility. Because our clinicians manage their own caseloads and coordinate visits directly with the individuals and teams they support, strong communication, organization, follow-through, and independent time management are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral assessments as clinically appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and revise individualized Behavior Support Plans and behavioral recommendations.
  • Analyze behavioral data and use findings to guide clinical recommendations and modifications.
  • Identify environmental, communication, sensory, social, and other factors that may contribute to challenging behavior.
  • Develop practical strategies to increase functional skills, independence, safety, emotional regulation, and participation in everyday activities.
  • Provide consultation, education, and training to individuals, families, caregivers, residential providers, day support staff, and other members of the support team.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Recreation Therapists, Support Coordinators, caregivers, and other providers.
  • Communicate directly with clients, caregivers, residential providers, and support teams to coordinate and schedule visits.
  • Independently organize and manage an assigned caseload and weekly schedule.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and the Rich Health Solutions administrative and clinical teams.
  • Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, case coordination, and team meetings as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable Virginia Medicaid DD Waiver, professional, and Rich Health Solutions documentation and service requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Current Virginia licensure as a Behavior Analyst.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload, coordinate appointments, and meet documentation requirements.
  • Ability to effectively train and communicate with caregivers and support staff.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel to client homes and community locations throughout the assigned service area.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Experience with Virginia Medicaid DD Waiver services or other home- and community-based services.
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Support Plans.
  • Experience providing caregiver and staff training.
  • Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team.

Who We're Looking For

The right clinician for this position is a self-starter who is comfortable working independently while also valuing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Successful clinicians at Rich Health Solutions are organized, dependable, responsive, and comfortable taking ownership of their caseload. This includes communicating with clients and caregivers, arranging visits, managing their schedule, completing documentation on time, monitoring progress, and reaching out to the clinical or administrative team when support is needed.

We value clinicians who can look beyond behavior in isolation and collaborate with other disciplines to understand the individual's communication, sensory, environmental, physical, and functional needs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $55.00–$65.00 per hour, based on experience.
  • Part-time position with a developing caseload and opportunity to ramp up to approximately 25–35 hours per week.
  • W-2 employment.
  • Flexible scheduling.
  • 401(k) eligibility after 90 days, with entry at the next quarterly enrollment date.
  • Professional development reimbursement.
  • Paid training and ongoing clinical support.
  • Administrative support for authorization and Medicaid Waiver processes.
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Opportunity for continued professional growth as Rich Health Solutions expands.

Work Location

This is a community-based position serving individuals throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and surrounding Hampton Roads communities.

Clinicians travel to client homes, residential settings, day support programs, and other community locations. Some services and team activities may be completed virtually when appropriate.
