Position Overview

Henry Ford Health is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) .

The BCBA will develop and oversee individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related developmental disabilities.

This role includes clinical supervision of ABA therapists, behavioral assessments, treatment planning, caregiver and provider education, data-driven outcome monitoring, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The position also provides opportunities to support program development, staff training, community education, and health-system initiatives .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee individualized ABA treatment programs for children with ASD and related disabilities.
• Conduct skill acquisition assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
• Develop comprehensive, individualized behavior treatment plans.
• Provide clinical supervision to ABA therapists implementing treatment programs.
• Provide direct behavioral intervention when needed to address challenging behaviors and treatment goals.
• Conduct weekly consultations with therapists to review progress and modify treatment plans.
• Consult with caregivers and therapists regarding treatment progress and behavioral interventions.
• Monitor and analyze treatment data and recommend changes when progress is limited.
• Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and other providers.
• Participate in twice-monthly consultations with Licensed Psychologists/Neuropsychologists.
• Provide in-services, workshops, and educational presentations to healthcare providers and community organizations.
• Develop and deliver training programs for student interns and ABA therapists.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and care coordination.
• Assist with resolving billing-related concerns involving employees and other Henry Ford Health departments.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant developmental field such as Education, Psychology, Speech-Language, or related field .
• Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Minimum 1 year of direct ABA experience working with children with ASD.
• Previous experience supervising ABA therapists .
• Strong clinical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, teamwork, flexibility, initiative, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to complete crisis management training and participate in physical intervention when required.
• Willingness to provide occasional clinical support outside standard hours as needed.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
