The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, oversee clinical services, and provide supervision and caregiver coaching. This role requires strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and a collaborative approach to working with families and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments, as appropriate to client needs and authorized services.
  • Develop individualized goals, treatment plans, and behavior intervention plans using assessment results and client and caregiver priorities.
  • Design practical strategies to build communication, social, daily living, and emotional regulation skills.
  • Review data regularly and adjust interventions based on client progress.
  • Supervise and mentor Behavior Technicians, Registered Behavior Technicians, and other assigned staff within the scope of their roles.
  • Observe sessions, model interventions, and provide constructive feedback to support consistent implementation.
  • Provide caregiver coaching that helps families use strategies during everyday routines.
  • Complete assessments, session notes, progress reports, and other clinical documentation accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, schools, regional centers, and other professionals when appropriate and authorized.
  • Support ethical, culturally responsive services that respect client dignity, preferences, and communication needs.
  • Participate in team meetings, staff training, and clinical quality improvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable professional standards, payer requirements, and company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in good standing.
  • Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field.
  • Experience providing ABA services to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to coach caregivers and train staff with patience, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a team.
  • Willingness to complete required onboarding, background screening, and payer credentialing.
  • Ability to travel to assigned service locations when required by the position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with early intervention and naturalistic, play-based teaching.

  • Experience supervising RBTs and supporting developing clinicians.
  • Familiarity with insurance-funded services.
  • Experience with skill assessments such as the AFLS, ABLLS-R, or VB-MAPP.
