Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify underlying causes of behaviors and inform intervention strategies
• Develop, implement, and supervise evidence-based behavior intervention plans aligned with client goals and family priorities
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine eligibility for services and track progress over time
• Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor treatment effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments
• Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and staff working directly with clients in various settings, including home-based and school environments
• Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, educators, and medical teams to ensure coordinated care and understanding of treatment plans
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by managing confidential medical records and documentation accurately within medical terminology standards
• Support clients through intake processes, behavioral health interventions, and autism spectrum disorders support programs

Experience

• Proven experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other neurodevelopmental disorders
• Hands-on experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA), including behavioral therapy techniques and behavior intervention strategies
• Familiarity with medical documentation, medical terminology, and managing medical records within a clinical setting
• Experience conducting functional assessments such as Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and functional analysis to develop effective interventions
• Home-based behavioral experience is highly desirable, along with school experience working directly with children in educational settings
• Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic evaluations, patient assessments, and clinical supervision effectively
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient care and confidentiality
• Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and clarity during treatment planning and progress updates

Pay: $71,200.00 - $95,900.00 per year
