What they need

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team dedicated to improving the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities in our center located in the 80906 zip code. All clients are center based and attend from 8-4:30pm. In the future we may accept 3 clients that would require home based supervision hours twice per month. As a BCBA, you will lead behavioral intervention programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your expertise will drive meaningful progress in clients’ communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors, fostering independence and enhancing quality of life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to become the clinical director for this location providing critical support for individuals on the autism spectrum and their staff.

Duties

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavioral psychological assessments to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on evidence-based practices in ABA.
  • Collect and analyze data meticulously to track client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians, caregivers, educators, and families to ensure consistent application of treatment strategies, including holding monthly team meetings.
  • Perform client assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake procedures, to determine appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including special education professionals, medical staff, and therapists—to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and privacy of client records.
  • Assist in training/guiding our current BCBA candidate.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Demonstrated expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, functional assessment, and behavior intervention techniques.
  • Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and functional behavior assessments (FBA).
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards aligned with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family training.
  • Prior experience providing clinical supervision or training to staff or caregivers is a plus.

Join us in making a difference through compassionate care and innovative behavioral solutions! We are committed to supporting your professional growth while empowering clients to reach their full potential through evidence-based practices rooted in ABA principles.
