About Pelican Autism Center of Excellence (PACE):

Pelican Autism Center of Excellence (PACE) is a new center-based ABA therapy provider currently under development in the Greater New Orleans area. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, individualized, evidence-based autism services while creating an exceptional experience for children, families, and our clinical team.

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team before our planned opening in early 2027.

This is an opportunity to help build a clinic from the ground up. As a founding leader, you will play a critical role in designing our clinical systems, hiring our team, establishing best practices, and creating a culture centered on clinical excellence.

Position Summary:

Prior to opening, the BCBA will work with ownership to prepare the organization for launch by assisting with:

· Clinical program development

· Medicaid and commercial insurance credentialing

· Policy and procedure development

· Clinical documentation standards

· RBT recruitment and onboarding

· Staff training

· Operational readiness

· Quality assurance initiatives

Following the clinic opening, this position will transition into overseeing all clinical operations while providing direct BCBA services and supervision.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).

· Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

· Design, implement, and monitor ABA treatment programs.

· Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

· Conduct caregiver and parent training.

· Analyze treatment data and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.

· Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

· Ensure compliance with BACB Ethics Code and Louisiana regulations.

· Collaborate with physicians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

· Recruit, interview, train, and mentor clinical staff.

· Develop and maintain clinical policies and procedures.

· Lead quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

· Experience opening or expanding an ABA clinic.

· Early intervention experience.

· Experience with CentralReach or similar ABA practice management software.

· Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation and credentialing.

· Passion for mentoring clinicians and building high-performing teams.

Why Join PACE?

Joining PACE means becoming part of something from the very beginning. Rather than stepping into an established organization, you will have the opportunity to shape the clinical vision, influence operational decisions, hire and mentor a talented team, and help create one of Louisiana’s premier autism centers.

If you’re looking for more than just another BCBA position and want the opportunity to build a lasting legacy, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today to become a founding leader at Pelican Autism Center of Excellence (PACE).
