Protelicious is developing a premium functional-food platform at the intersection of protein nutrition, metabolic health, GLP-1 adoption, longevity, and beneficial indulgence.

The company offers two complementary product lines: a wellness line centered on gourmet whey protein concentrate and a gourmet line featuring proprietary high-protein, zero-added-sugar ice cream. Its commercialization strategy combines branded soft-serve machines, healthcare and wellness partnerships, and direct-to-consumer subscriptions.

About the Role

Protelicious is seeking an experienced business leader to serve as a member of its Board of Directors.

The Board Member will work with the founders and fellow directors to provide governance, strategic oversight, financial guidance, and support as the company completes its Pre-Series A stage and prepares for broader expansion.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and guidance regarding corporate strategy and execution
• Review operating plans, budgets, financing strategies, and major company initiatives
• Advise management on growth, risk management, corporate governance, and organizational development
• Support introductions to strategic partners, investors, retailers, distributors, and industry leaders
• Help evaluate opportunities involving product expansion, licensing, partnerships, and new markets
• Attend scheduled board meetings and review relevant company materials

Ideal Candidate

• Prior board, executive, founder, investor, or senior operating experience
• Experience in consumer products, food and beverage, healthcare, wellness, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, or venture capital
• Strong understanding of early-stage company growth and financing
• Ability to provide independent, thoughtful, and commercially practical guidance
• Genuine enthusiasm for Protelicious and its mission
