Elite Marine Service is hiring a Marine Rigger / Mechanic. We’re looking for someone who knows boats, takes pride in clean work, and can complete jobs without constant supervision.

We service and repair outboards, install marine electronics, and rig fishing boats. If you enjoy working with your hands and understand how anglers use their equipment, we’d like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Install fish finders, forward-facing sonar, transducers, and electronics mounts.
• Install and service trolling motors, shallow-water anchors, batteries, and chargers.
• Run clean wiring, make secure connections, and troubleshoot marine electrical issues.
• Perform routine outboard maintenance, including oil changes, gear lube service, spark plugs, and water pump replacement.
• Assist with mechanical diagnosis and repairs based on experience.
• Protect customer boats and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate findings, needed parts, and job progress.

Qualifications

• Boat and fishing experience required.
• Basic mechanical ability and electrical wiring experience required.
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently once trained.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening.
• Marine electronics, outboard repair, or bass boat rigging experience preferred.

Factory training and marine certifications are a plus. We also welcome hands-on candidates with solid skills and a willingness to learn.
