Key Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of boats, engines, and marine equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
• Monitor engine performance and identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.

Repairs & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel system faults.
• Troubleshoot engine malfunctions and vessel operational issues.
• Coordinate with external suppliers or contractors for major repairs when required.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all vessels comply with maritime safety requirements and company standards.
• Inspect safety equipment regularly, including life jackets, fire extinguishers, navigation lights, radios, and emergency systems.
• Support safety drills and emergency preparedness activities.

Equipment Management

• Monitor spare parts inventory and maintenance consumables.
• Prepare requisitions for spare parts and repair materials.
• Maintain maintenance records and service logs for all vessels.

Operational Support

• Support Boat Captains and Marine Operations team during vessel operations.
• Conduct pre-departure technical inspections.
• Be available for emergency repairs when required.
