Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, processing cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and seating areas by following food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as food handling and basic food prep to support beverage service.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with beverage service is essential.
• Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and handling change accurately.
• Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and beverage preparation within the food industry.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
