Bobarista

Job Overview
We are seeking a Bobarista or alike food industry member to join our team. As a Bobarista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious bubble tea beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve engaging with customers, preparing drinks and snacks, fryer, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Must obtain a Food Handler Certification. Pay rate will depend on experience.

This is a day shift position M-F and occasionally weekends. Must be available to work 10 am to 3 pm or as needed.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
• Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, handling cash transactions and credit card payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and serving areas.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all products served.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
• Engage with customers to promote new products and special offers, enhancing their overall experience.

Skills

• Experience in food service environment is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for teas or beverage preparation is highly desirable.
