Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or a relevant engineering discipline.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the AFBC boiler through the Distributed Control System (DCS).
• Monitor boiler pressure, temperature, drum level, steam flow, furnace draft and feedwater parameters.
• Control combustion, fuel feeding, air distribution and bed temperature to maintain efficient boiler operation.
• Monitor ID, FD and PA fans, feed pumps and other boiler auxiliaries.
• Identify abnormal operating conditions, alarms and interlocks, and take corrective action as per SOPs.
• Coordinate with field operators during boiler start-up, shutdown and troubleshooting.
• Maintain DCS logs, operating records and shift reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance and instrumentation teams during breakdowns and equipment faults.
• Follow boiler safety procedures and emergency operating protocols.

Preferred Experience: AFBC boiler operation in a biomass or thermal power plant, with practical DCS panel-handling experience.

• Handle pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments used in boiler and turbine operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot DCS, PLC, control loops, alarms and interlocks.
• Perform calibration and functional testing of instruments as per maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose instrument failures and resolve signal, wiring, communication and control-loop issues.
• Support boiler and turbine start-up, shutdown and breakdown maintenance.
• Coordinate with electrical and operations teams for equipment troubleshooting.
• Maintain calibration certificates, instrument history, maintenance checklists and breakdown records.
• Ensure instrumentation systems operate safely and reliably in accordance with plant SOPs.

Preferred Experience: Instrumentation maintenance in an AFBC boiler-based biomass or thermal power plant,

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
