Role & responsibilities - 1st Class Boiler Operator

• Operate and monitor boiler and steam generation systems safely and efficiently.
• Maintain required steam pressure, temperature and water level.
• Handle boiler start-up, shutdown and routine operations.
• Monitor fuel feeding, combustion and boiler performance.
• Conduct regular checks of boiler, pumps, valves, gauges and safety devices.
• Perform blowdown, water-level checks and boiler housekeeping.
• Monitor and maintain boiler water quality and chemical dosing.
• Attend breakdowns and basic troubleshooting of boiler equipment.
• Maintain logbooks, shift records and boiler operating parameters.
• Ensure compliance with boiler safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for uninterrupted steam supply.
• Follow 5S, PPE, safety and environmental procedures.
