Boiler Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boilers (high and low pressure) to maintain safe and efficient performance.
• Check water levels and pressure, making necessary adjustments.
• Conduct inspections of boilers, burners, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform water quality testing and apply chemical treatments.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in boiler systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, fire codes, and environmental standards.
• Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and operational logs.

Skills & Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of mechanical systems, steam generation, and safety protocols.
• Problem-solving skills to quickly address operational anomalies.
• Attention to detail for monitoring gauges, meters, and automated systems.
• Physical stamina for handling equipment and working in boiler rooms.
• Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields; some employers accept 12th pass with training.
• Certifications: Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE) license is often required in India.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
