Boiler Operator

Role: Boiler Operator

Objective: responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of fired boilers.

Key Responsibilities

• Boiler Operation: Assist in starting, monitoring, and shutting down HSD-fired boilers under supervision.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, PPE usage, and emergency procedures.
• Monitoring Parameters: Record steam pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and water levels.
• Routine Maintenance: Support preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners, checking valves, and inspecting pipelines.
• Documentation: Maintain logbooks of daily operations, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
• Team Support: Work closely with senior operators and maintenance staff to ensure smooth plant operations.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant trade.
• Boiler Operator Certificate (if applicable, depending on local regulations).
• Basic knowledge of HSD fuel systems and boiler operation principles.
• Willingness to work in shifts and learn advanced boiler operation techniques.
• 1-3 years with boiler certificate is must

• Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor gauges and detect abnormalities.
• Problem-Solving: Basic troubleshooting of minor operational issues.
• Communication: Clear reporting of operational status to supervisors
