Boiler Operator / Technician – Maintenance

We are looking for an experienced Boiler Operator / Technician to operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot boiler systems and associated equipment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient boiler operations while carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor steam/hot water boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections and monitor boiler pressure, temperature, water level, fuel consumption, and operating parameters.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers and associated mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair boiler, burner, pump, valve, and control system issues.
• Check and maintain water treatment, feedwater, blowdown, and chemical dosing systems.
• Maintain proper boiler operating pressure and temperature as per manufacturer requirements.
• Identify abnormal conditions, leaks, unusual noises, or equipment failures and take appropriate corrective action.
• Maintain accurate operation logs, maintenance records, inspection reports, and readings.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance teams during breakdowns and major maintenance activities.
• Follow all HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and boiler safety regulations.
• Assist with periodic boiler inspections, servicing, cleaning, and shutdown maintenance.
• Ensure tools, spare parts, and equipment are properly maintained and available for required maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Boiler, or a relevant technical trade.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in boiler operation and maintenance.
• Experience with steam boilers, hot water boilers, burners, pumps, and associated systems.
• GCC/Qatar maintenance experience will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of boiler safety procedures and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems.
• Valid relevant trade certificates are preferred.

• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,100.00 per month
