Hoc Po Feeds Corporation is looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Boiler Shift Supervisor to join our growing team.

📍 Work Location: Guiguinto, Bulacan

Position Overview

The Boiler Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising the boiler operations team to ensure the continuous availability of safe, sufficient, and quality steam supply required for plant operations. The role oversees the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of boiler systems, utilities, and related equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the team of Boiler Operators and Helpers to ensure 100% availability of steam supply while maintaining safe, sufficient, and quality steam production.
• Directly oversee the operation of steam boiler systems, including boiler equipment, fuel management, steam distribution systems, flow meters, ash disposal systems, and water treatment facilities.
• Ensure proper monitoring and operation of boiler equipment and utilities to maintain efficient and reliable plant operations.
• Supervise the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance activities for boiler systems and related equipment to minimize unexpected breakdowns and production downtime.
• Manage and monitor water systems, compressors, condensate recovery systems, and other auxiliary equipment supporting boiler operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and housekeeping standards within the boiler area.
• Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of boiler operations to identify abnormalities and recommend necessary corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to Boiler Operators and Helpers to ensure proper execution of operational activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all activities performed by the team, including daily operational reports, equipment conditions, maintenance activities, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, and other departments regarding equipment concerns, operational requirements, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and utilization of fuel, materials, and other resources related to boiler operations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Management from time to time.

✅ Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is preferred.
• With at least one (1) year of relevant work experience in boiler operations, utilities, or maintenance operations within a manufacturing firm.
• Knowledgeable in boiler systems, utility equipment operation, and basic troubleshooting procedures.
• With good leadership, supervisory, and team management skills.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and familiar with AutoCAD.
• Has mechanical and electrical knowledge or strong interest in industrial equipment and systems.
• Knowledgeable in workplace safety practices, GMP, and proper housekeeping standards.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and render overtime when necessary.
