TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced, trade-qualified Boilermakers/Fabricators for a long-term day-shift workshop opportunity in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

This position will suit skilled tradespeople with strong MIG and TIG welding experience who take pride in producing accurate, high-quality fabrication work in a professional and safety-focused environment.

The initial assignment is expected to run for at least 26 weeks and may transition to permanent full-time employment for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating and assembling metal components
• MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
• Reading and interpreting engineering and workshop drawings
• Completing accurate, high-quality fabrication work
• Working independently and as part of a fabrication team
• Maintaining workshop safety, quality and housekeeping standards

What You’ll Need

• Australian-recognised trade qualification in Boilermaking or Fabrication
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
• Experience in workshop-based fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities and work with minimal supervision
• Full working rights in Australia
• Currently based in Melbourne, Victoria
• Contactable references from previous employers
