About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Boilermaker to join our team on a full-time rostered basis.

The Boilermaker is required to assist with the maintenance of the Sawmill, plant and equipment by undertaking repairs and maintenance.

Roster:

• Average of 45 hours per week on an 8/6 roster - day shift only, locally based, be home every night.
• Roster commences on Fridays

Duties will include:

• Perform MMAW, MIG and TIG welding
• Performing routine maintenance/breakdown fabrication repairs on mobile/fixed plant
• Fabricating components for replacement and modifications
• Inspecting equipment for cracks/wear/damage and reporting
• Work with mechanical/ electrical team during breakdown/scheduled maintenance
• Interpret technical drawings and welding procedures

About you:

• Trade certificate (Fabrication)
• WAH, CS, Forklift ticket etc are desirable but not essential
• Safety focused
• Team player
